The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the Crimean parliament. The law establishes the legal framework for implementing state policy in the field of agricultural development as an economic activity for the production of agricultural products, providing services to provide the population with food products manufactured on the peninsula, industrial agricultural raw materials and promoting sustainable development of rural areas in the Crimea.

The yield of grain crops in the Crimea should be increased several times.

According to Minister of Agriculture of Crimea Vitaly Polishchuk, the main goal of the law is to ensure stable development of agricultural production and regulation of relations arising between citizens and legal entities in the field of agricultural development.
